If most of your editing consists of global exposure, colour, contrast and crop adjustments, a pen display is probably unnecessary.
It starts to make much more sense when detailed retouching is already part of your normal photographic process.
Portrait photographers, beauty photographers, product photographers, commercial photographers and dedicated retouchers are much more likely to appreciate the precision that direct pen input provides.
It's also particularly interesting if you already use a conventional Wacom tablet but want a more immediate editing experience, or if you've previously dismissed larger pen displays because they don't fit the way you work.
For me, the combination of portability and direct control is ultimately what has kept the Movink in my photography workflow.
